Also the inaugural full-length for Daptone Records, the 2002 record is a mixed pot of “fire-breathing soul” and intoxicating, throwback r&b. Standout tracks include “What Have You Done for Me Lately,” “Cut The Line,” and “Got A Thing on My Mind.”
